Yorktown Man, 31, Charged With Heroin Possession

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Members of the Yorktown Police Department and the Westchester County Northern Drug Task force arrested a man Monday for allegedly possessing heroin, according to officials.

Daniel Pezanowski, 31, of Tulip Drive, Yorktown Heights, is charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Pezanowski’s arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Curry Street near Jennifer Court, according to police.

During the stop, which happened about 7:35 p.m., authorities say they discovered a quantity of heroin and arrested Pezanowski.

The suspect was processed at the Yorktown Police Department headquarters and released on his own recognizance, police said.

Pezanowski’s arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, in Yorktown Justice Court, according to police.
