Yorktown Man, 25, Charged With Criminial Mischief

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown Police recently arrested a 25-year-old local man after he allegedly choked a victim, broke a televison and was in possession of a stolen cell phone, according to police officials.

Jamar McLeod was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing and fifth-degree possession of stolen property, Yorktown Police said. 

He was arraigned and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $15,000 bond, according to Yorktown Police.
