Yorktown Announces Road Closures For Halloween Parade

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Police Department on Monday issued a statement warning drivers that several town roads will be closed during the upcoming Halloween Costume Parade.

The event, scheduled from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, is being sponsored by the Yorktown Lions Club, according to Chief Robert Noble.

Noble said that several streets will be closed for the duration of the parade, including Hanover Street at Commerce Street, Commerce Street between Veterans Road and Downing Drive, and Veterans Road between Commerce Street and Maple Hill Street.
