Woman, 28, Charged With DWI In Taconic Parkway Stop

PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. -- Emily A. Nilsson, 28, of Putnam Valley was charged at 10 p.m. on Sept. 23 with driving while intoxicated in the area Taconic State Parkway at Bryant Pond Road.

According to reports, she allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and swerved across pavement markings into the oncoming lane of traffic and drive onto the shoulder of the roadway.

She was processed at the Putnam County Correctional Facility and held pending arraignment.
