Washington Engine Company In Croton-On-Hudson Holds Training

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- A dozen members of Washington Engine Co. No. 2 recently rode to the Westchester County Fire Training Center in Valhalla for a night of training.

Members reviewed self contained breathing apparatus basics, and then navigated the mask confidence course during the session on May 2. Members were put into teams of two or three and went through the course twice. The first time their vision was left intact, the second time it was blacked out. This training was a good review for the more seasoned members, and a great learning experience for the newer ones.
