Two Men Possess Forged Driver's Licenses, Credit Cards, Yorktown Police Say

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - A pair of Bronx residents were arrested in Shrub Oak by Yorktown Police on multiple felony charges Wednesday after being caught with fake IDs and debit cards.

On Thursday, Yorktown police announced the arrest of Kamarv Whetstone, 30 and Rudolph J. Clarke, 33, after officers were dispatched to an East Main Street parking lot for reports of a “suspicious occupied vehicle.”

According to police, shortly after 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the Shrub Oak Shopping Center parking lot. Upon further investigation, it was alleged that Whetstone, who was the driver of the suspicious vehicle was in possession of marijuana. It was later determined that both Whetstone and Clarke were in possession of multiple forged driver’s licenses and bank debit cards.

Both Whetstone and Clarke were arrested at the scene and transported to the Yorktown Police Department. Whetstone was charged with four felony counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Clarke was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.

According to at Lohud report, Clarke spent nearly 20 months in New York state prison and Whetstone had prior arrests in Connecticut on forgery charges. Whetstone was remanded to the Westchester County Jail and is being held without bail. Clarke is being held on $15,000 bail. Both are due back in Yorktown Town Court on Thursday night.
