CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Emergency responders in Croton-on-Hudson were busy on a rainy Thursday evening, as they assisted at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on Maple Street.

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday, crews from the Croton Fire Department and EMS were dispatched to Maple Street, between Van Cortlandt Place and Olcott Avenue, where two cars were involved in a collision.

The roadway was temporarily shut down as police investigated the scene and paramedics checked on the motorists, who both declined treatment. Maple Street was reopened to traffic after approximately 20 minutes after a tow truck cleared the scene.
