Kyle R. Heady was arrested at about 5:30 a.m. Friday outside his home at 254 Wixon Pond Road, the sheriff's office said.

Heady is the third person who resided at 254 Wixon arrested early Friday morning. A two-month investigation led to the arrests of a 27-year-old man and 24-year-old woman who resided at 254 Wixon Pond Road last week.

Heady, who is accused of possessing heroin, is reportedly on state parole for a prior criminal conviction and could also face a charge of violating the conditions of his parole, the sheriff's office said.

Heady is charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony.

He was arraigned before Carmel Town Justice Thomas Jacobellis and was remanded to the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000.00 cash bail or $50,000.00 bail bond. He could receive up to nine years in prison if convicted on the drug charge.

Maheer Issa Jamal, 27, and Liridona Krasniqi, 24, who resided together at 254 Wixon Pond Road in Mahopac, were arrested at about 4 a.m. Friday after officers armed with arrest warrants pulled over the car they were traveling in along Wixon Pond Road near their home.

According to the criminal complaints in the case, Jamal allegedly sold heroin to an undercover sheriff’s deputy on three occasions over the last two months. The drug sales were reportedly transacted at the front door of the suspects’ home while Krasniqi was present.
