Police Continue Fishkill Dollar Tree Investigation

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- New York State Police continue to investigate a robbery that occurred on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at the Dollar Tree in the Village of Fishkill and have released a composite sketch of the man involved, according to New York State Police.

The robbery took place at 9 p.m. at the store at 738 Route 9, when an unidentified male entered the business, brandished a weapon and demanded money, state police said.

 The suspect received an undetermined amount of cash, two cell phones and fled the store in an unknown direction, state police said.

The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 5-feet-10, with short, gray hair, and weighing between 180-200 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a navy blue pullover shirt, and a dark colored jacket, state police said.
