Police Charge Three After Altercation At Cortlandt Bar

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Three men were arrested and charged in connection with an altercation at Popeye's Bar in Cortlandt, according to New York State Police.

Police arrested 22-year-old Adam Rosenthal, of Mahopac; 22-year-old Nicholas A. Privitera, of Carmel; and 29-year-old William J. Lyons, of Mahopac on March 28, according to a press release from New York State Police. 

Rosenthal was charged with one count of second degree burglary, a class C violent felony; and third degree assault, a class A misdemeanor. Rosenthal is being held in Westchester County Jail on $50,000 bail, according to the release. 

Privitera was charged with one count of second degree burglary, a class C violent felony; and third degree assault, a class A misdemeanor. Privitera was released pending a future court appearance, police said. Privitera also was charged with driving  in the City of Peekskill where he was located shortly after the incident, according to the release. 

Lyons was charged with third degree assault, a class A misdemeanor. Lyons was released pending a future court appearance, according to the release. 

Lyons and Privitera were arrested shortly after the incident, while Rosenthal was arrested later after an  investigation, police said in the release.
