CORTLANDT, N.Y. A Peekskill man is facing two misdemeanor charges after New York State Police accused him of driving under the influence of drugs.
Franklin Evans, 45, of Peekskill was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs. State police said Evans had a glass pipe that contained residue. The incident occurred at 10 p.m. at 2050 Main St. in Cortlandt.
The following incidents also were reported by the New York State Police:
Felony DWI: Roberto Vargas, 40, of Peekskill was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated DWI. The incident occurred at 1:55 a.m. Sunday, June 3.
DWI: Robert M. MacDonald, 37, of Cortlandt Manor was charged with misdemeanor DWI and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent, while on the Taconic Parkway northbound in Mount Pleasant. The incident occurred at 12:27 a.m. Thursday, May 31.
DWI: Michael J. Walsh, 52, of Cortlandt Manor was charged with misdemeanor DWI in Mount Pleasant on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The incident occurred at 5:51 a.m. Saturday, June 2.
DWI: Faruk Shahzad, 21, of Yonkers was charged with misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent and misdemeanor DWI, first offense, while driving on Route 9 in Cortlandt. The incident occurred at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 5.
Felony Forged Instrument: Sandra M. Grant-McPherson, 47, of White Plains was charged with felony possession of a forged instrument and felony filing a false instrument. The incident occurred at 1 Memorial Drive, Croton-on-Hudson, at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, May 31.
Criminal Mischief: Donald E. Bradley, 36, of Cortlandt was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief. The incident occurred at 2:42 a.m. Friday, June 1.
Disobeying a Court Order: Jared S. Lutwyche, 24, of Crompond was charged with misdemeanor disobeying a court order. The incident occurred at 1980 Crompond Road at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 1.
Criminal Contempt: Diana T. Ortiz, 49, of Cortlandt was charged with misdemeanor criminal contempt for disobeying a court order, according to the New York State Police blotter. The incident occurred at 8:55 p.m. Saturday, June 2.
Criminal Contempt: Breeanna Clough, 19, of Cortlandt Manor was charged with misdemeanor criminal contempt. The incident occurred at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 6.
Criminal Contempt: John R. Pasquerella, 45, of Cortlandt Manor was charged with felony criminal contempt and misdemeanor criminal mischief. The incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6.
