Mohegan Lake Teen Charged As Pool Crasher

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A Mohegan Lake resident was charged by Yorktown police last week after he allegedly trespassed at a private pool.

Police responded Tuesday, July 10, to the Mogul Park co-op on a report of people in a fenced-in pool area. A member of the association alleged that Ryan Jabusch, 19, of Morris Lane, who had left the area, was trespassing.

Jabusch appeared at police headquarters on Thursday, July 12, where he was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor. He is due Aug. 14 in Yorktown Town Court.

The following items also were reported by Yorktown police:

Harassing Calls: Maria Placencia, 29, of New York City was charged Friday, July 13, with second-degree aggravated harassment, a class A misdemeanor. She is accused of making numerous unwanted harassing phone calls to a Strawberry Road resident between February 2011 and July 2012. She is due Tuesday, July 24, in Yorktown Town Court.

Sears Shoplifting: Police were called to Sears at the Jefferson Valley Mall by security personnel on Thursday, July 12, where Danica Welsh, 28, of Thornwood was accused of leaving the store without paying for assorted clothing and two pairs of swimming goggles, valued at $260. She is due Aug. 14 in Yorktown Town Court.
