About 12:30 a.m., Nov. 22, a state trooper noticed a car being driven driving erratically near Oregon Road.
Upon further investigation, the officer determined that the driver, Luis R. Quizhpi, was intoxicated, according to police records. Quizhpi refused to take a breath test.
Quizhpi was convicted of a DWI charge in 2008 and temporarily lost his driving privileges due to an April 2014 DWI case pending against him in Cortlandt Town Court, police said.
Because of the previous charges, he was charged with felony DWI and misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Quizhpi’s next legal appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m., Dec. 5, in Cortlandt Town Court.
