Emergency Responders Rush To Scene Of Car In House Report In Mahopac

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- The Mahopac Fire Department rolled out with a full response to a 911 call reporting a car into a house on Albion Oval off Baldwin Lane east of Route 6 on Tuesday.

Fire, EMS, Heavy Rescue and Fire Police, along with Carmel Police and Putnam County Sheriff deputies discovered an unoccupied vehicle with rear end damage on one side of the road and tire tracks leading up to the front of a house that had sustained minimal damage on the other side. 

A call was put into the Town of Carmel Building Dept. to check the stability of the house.

Firefighters stayed on the scene for a half hour until the "all clear" was given.
