At 10:34 a.m., companies were called to the Discovery Cove complex on Half Moon Bay Drive for an odor of gas inside. A small leak was found at the meter outside. Con Edison made repairs with no incident.

At 8:20 p.m., Marine 12 was called out to the Hudson River to investigate a potential overturned vessel. Nothing was found in the area however conflicting reports of a large stationary rock and a "Port-A-Potty" floating in the water were investigated further south by the Tarrytown Fire Department.

When the second call came in, members were participating in a Truck Company Operations class at Harmon Firehouse. This is part of the department's continuing training program for all members.
