CARMEL, N.Y. -- Multiple authorities and emergency responders rushed to the scene of a two-car accident with injuries that resulted in the closure of Weber Hill Road in Carmel Tuesday afternoon.

Mahopac Fire, EMS and Fire Police, along with state police and Carmel Police responded.

Asst. Chief Bill Nikisher assumed the role of Incident Command and had police and fire units close the heavily travelled road to let EMS work safely.

The injuries reportedly were not serious.

The road was closed for approximately an hour.
