Cortlandt Teen Violated Order Of Protection, Police Say

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Cortlandt 18-year-old with violating an order of protection and trespassing on school grounds on Saturday, Nov. 1, police said.

Administrators at Hendrick Hudson High School contacted police when they allegedly witnessed Jose A. Bonifaz, 18, on school grounds. Bonifaz was reportedly in violation of an order of protection that was put in place by a student at the school, police said. 

Bonifaz was arraigned before Cortlandt Justice Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. He is scheduled to reappear before the Cortlandt court on Friday, Nov. 7, police said.
