CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A Cortlandt man was arrested early Saturday and charged with first-degree assault for allegedly shooting his wife in the stomach, according to published reports.
The Journal News reported that 76-year-old Mario Vallorosi's son called police and said his father had shot his mother. Vallorosi was arraigned in Village of Croton-on-Hudson Court.
According to The Journal News, The 75-year-old woman, whom police did not identify, was transported to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla and listed in critical condition.
