David Herbin was due Jan. 3 in Yorktown Town Court on a charge of driving while intoxicated. When he did not appear, a warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.
On Saturday, Jan. 19, Herbin was arrested by the Westchester County Police on an unrelated charge and was taken to Yorktown police headquarters for processing. He was sent to the Westchester County Jail on $5,000 bail and is due back in court at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Marijuana Possession: A 20-year-old Mohegan Lake man was charged Wednesday, Jan. 16, with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, police said. A police officer saw him drive through a stop sign in his black Honda Civic around 1:45 p.m., police said. During the traffic stop, the officer found the man to be in possession of marijuana, according to the report. The man was released without bail and is due back in court Feb. 28.
Petty Larceny: An 18-year-old Mahopac resident was charged Thursday, Jan. 17, with misdemeanor petty larceny after he attempted to steal $100 in cash from T.J. Maxx in the Triangle Center, police said. The teen was released without bail and is due back in court Feb. 28.
