Cortlandt Man, 31, Charged With DWI In Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – A Cortlandt man was arrested in Peekskill recently and charged with driving while intoxicated, according to the New York State Police.

Kevin W. Thompson, 31, of Cortlandt, was arrested Sunday, police said.

Authorities had conducted a welfare check after noticing that Thompson’s car was stopped in a parking area, according to police.

Upon further investigation, officials said they discovered Thompson had a .17 blood alcohol level.

Thompson is scheduled to answer to the misdemeanor charge Thursday, May 7, in the City of Peekskill Court.
