Cops: Verplanck Burglar Victimized Downstairs Neighbor

VERPLANCK, N.Y. - A Verplanck burglar broke into his downstairs neighbor's apartment, ate their food, stole money and setup a wireless Internet connection for later use, say New York State Police.

Sean Gunther, 30, is charged with felony burglary after police say an investigation revealed he forcefully entered his downstairs neighbor's apartment.

Gunther was remanded to Westchester County Jail without bail, and is due at 9 a.m. Jan. 11 in Cortlandt Town Justice Court.
