Tell me it's not so: The Town of Lewisboro uses tax dollars to subsidize the Fireworks Spectacular?
With tight budgets, cutbacks, stagnant/declining house sales, other priorities that should be addressed we are allowing tax dollars to go to such things as a Fireworks Spectacular!
In the past few years federal, state and local municipalities have cut out these events due to the present economy affecting not only the government entities but also its residents as a whole.
The Fireworks Spectacular is a fun event, but is it prudent for the town to be funding "fun" events during these economic times with tax dollars?
Is this truly a priority - Let's really think about it! Thank You - Be safe!
