BUCHANAN, N.Y. - Walter Franko of Buchanan died Nov. 4. He was 85.
Franko was born Feb. 20, 1929, in New York City, to John and Katherine Jakjo Franko. He worked for National Amusements where he was the manager of the Whitestone Drive-In Theater in the Bronx.
Franko is survived by his brother, John (Anna) Franko of Darien, Conn.; a nephew and four nieces; and sister-in-law, Gail Franko of Buchanan. He was predeceased by his brother, Ted Franko.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at St. Raymond's Cemetery, the Bronx.
