VERPLANCK, N.Y. Richard S. Toth, a former Verplanck resident, died June 9. He was 70.
Toth was born Sept. 3, 1941, in Peekskill to Joseph and Anne Miseli Toth. Raised in Verplanck, he attended local schools and worked for IBM in New York City. He most recently lived in Holmes, N.Y.
He is survived by a sister, Joanne (Saverio) Rizzo, of Peekskill; and two nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Joseph Toth.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at St. Patrick's Church in Verplanck, with burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Joseph Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill handled arrangements.
