BUCHANAN, N.Y. - Patricia (McNeary) Keenan of Buchanan, died March 14. She was 79.
Keenan was born in Brooklyn on Dec. 31, 1933, to John and Catherine (Lemon) McNeary. She worked as a registered nurse at Hudson Valley Hospital for more than 28 years.
Keenan is survived by her husband, William; children, William, Mary (William) Foster, John (Laura), Clare (Christopher) Carey and Elizabeth (Teddy) Rende; daughter-in-law, Holly; sister, Marcia (Peter) Seredynski; brothers Brian (Alison) and Allen (Priscilla) McNeary; and 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Stephen and Denis.
Calling hours were Sunday at the Cortlandt Funeral Home, 97, Broadway, Verplanck. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, at St. Patrick's Church, Verplanck. Interment will follow at the Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Keenan’s memory to the St. Patrick's Church in Verplanck.
