CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Joan Marie Van Dyke, a lifelong area resident of Montrose, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the age of 75.
Van Dyke was born to Hendrick & Johanna Van Til Aug. 30, 1939, in Peekskill.
Van Dyke is survived by her beloved husband Carl Van Dyke of Montrose; cherished children Judy Rotella (John) of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Laurie Small (Bill) of Buchanan, Mark Van Dyke (Bree) of Stormville, and Jill Achacoso (Rolando) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren TaraRotella, Bill Small (Tori), Pamela Mason (Sean), Mark Jake and Chloe Van Dyke, and EthanAchacoso; great-grandchildren Sabrina, Sean, and Alexandria Mason, and brother Harry Van Til of Montrose.
She was predeceased by her sister Connie Sabol and granddaughter Christina Marie Small.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Reformed Church of Cortlandtown, 2124 Albany Post Road, Montrose with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Montrose.
