CORTLANDT, N.Y. — Cortlandt resident Jean A. DeSimone died Monday, May 2. She was 87.
DeSimone graduated from Peekskill High School in 1946 and was a business office representative for New York Telephone for more than 36 years, working in the Peekskill office for 25½ years and the Carmel office for nine years before retiring in 1982.
She is survived by her son, Joseph DeSimone; daughter, Paula Beman; nephew, William Hardy; and grandchildren, Jessica DeSimone and Chelsea Beman,
DeSimone was predeceased by her first husband, Walter Beisser in 1970; second husband, Domenic DeSimone in 1991; twin brother, Jewel J. Hardy; and cousin, Mary C. Borden.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill, with a funeral service to follow.
Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
