Born March 3, 1927, in Peekskill he was the son of the late Thomas and Adelaide Gaska.
Gaska served in the U.S. Army during World War II and enjoyed good music and doing puzzles.
He was predeceased by his step-mother Emily (Zembrowski) Gaska, sister Helen and three brothers, George, Walter, and Wilbur Gaska.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 26, at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of 209 Main St. Germantown. Friends will be received at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at a later date in the Assumption Cemetery of Peekskill.
