BUCHANAN, N.Y. - Frank Forman of Buchanan died Thursday, Aug.29. He was 97.
Forman was born March 3, 1916, in Peekskill. He attended Peekskill Public Schools. He worked as a welder for Metro-North Railroad for 40 years, retiring in 1981.
Forman is survived by his nephews, Bernie Tandy (Doreen) and George Forman (Sandra). He was predeceased by his first wife, Rana; son, Joseph; second wife, Sadie; and siblings, George, John, Andy, Joseph, Steven, Barbara and Anna.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Sept. 3 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose. A Funeral Service will be held immediately at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
