CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Frank Califano of Cortlandt Manor passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17. He was 90.
Califano was born on Feb. 8, 1925, in Ischia, Italy, to Pasquale and Raffaela Califano. He married his late wife Nancy Mangano on June 12,1955.
Califano worked as an investigator for the Department of Social Services in New York City.
Califano is survived by his children, Joann Mosher, Christopher Califano, John Califano and Michael Califano. He is also survived by two brothers, John and Tony; and five grandchildren, Sean, Nancy, Emily, Carolyn and Alessandro. Frank later remarried and was also predeceased by his wife, Carmela (Tirri).
Family and friends will honor the life of Frank on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, at St. Columbanus Church at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
