Edna Stephens Bobolia, 92, Of Cortlandt Manor

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Edna Stephens Bobolia, of Cortlandt Manor, died Monday, April 20. She was 92.

Bobolia was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Stockport, England, to Florence and William Stephens. She immigrated to America in 1946 after World War II. She returned to school and earned a degree in nursing, working at the Sky View Nursing Home in Croton-on-Hudson for years.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Nicholas; her brother, Norman; and her, sister Vera. She is survived by seven sons, Kevin, Michael and his wife, Laura, Stephen and his wife, Paula, Keith and his wife, Christine, Nicholas and his wife, Sylvia, Jonathan and Timothy; her daughter, Stephanie Orhlein and her husband, Eric; 31 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 23, from 5-9 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, at St. Columbanus Church, 122 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Columbanus Church.
