Dominick D'Amelio, 89, Of Montrose

MONTROSE, N.Y. – Dominick D'Amelio of Montrose died Jan. 7. He was 89.

He was born Nov. 26, 1923, in the Bronx, N.Y., to Nicola and Anna D'Amelio. He was married to Theresa D'Amelio, who predeceased him.

D'Amelio is survived by three children, Janet (Fred) D' Agostino, Debbie (Peter) DeCroix and Nicholas D'Amelio; two sisters, Rosemarie Maiello and Louisa Gianini; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Patricia.

Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Cortlandt Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Assumption Church in Peekskill. Entombment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, N.Y.
