David Mignotte, 84, Cortlandt Resident

CORTLANDT, N.Y. — Cortlandt Manor resident David S. Mignotte died Saturday, May 14. He was 84.

A New York City native, Mignotte was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1954-55, during the Korean War. 

He graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Fordham University and a masters degree from New York University.

Mignotte was the head of the data processing department of Citi Bank in New York and was one of three developers to develop the original program for electronic banking. 

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Peekskill. 

Mignotte is survived by two sons, Gilbert Hernandez and Christopher (Lasanja) Mignotte; and a grandson, Antwoin Gutierrez. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne; his son, Stephen; his grandson, Gilbert J. Hernandez Jr., and his sister, Enid. 

The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
