CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Daniel Thomas Cotter, a longtime resident of Croton-on-Hudson, died on Tuesday, July 28. He was 59.
Cotter was born on Oct. 8, 1955, to William F. and Jane (Hartman) Cotter.
He graduated from the Croton-Harmon School District, working for the New York Police Department as a community affairs officer in the 45th Precinct.
Cotter is survived by his wife Amy; three children, Shannon and her partner Michael Pasciolla, Liam and Patrick Cotter; sister Kitty Cotter and her partner Dian Hamilton, and brother Michael Cotter and his partner Angel Colon.
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St. in Croton-on-Hudson.
