BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Bronxville resident Claire "Clara" Catalina, formerly of Croton-on-Hudson, died on Monday, Jan. 11. She was 97.
She was born to Joseph and Marie Elizabeth Call in Sykesville, Pa., on Oct. 12, 1918.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Shapiro; granddaughters Dannielle Parker and Nancy Fletcher; Dan Fletcher; great-grandchildren Connor and Reilly Fletcher; and sister Eleanor Vincent, of Wilmington, Del..
Catalina was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Alfred.
Visitation hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, at Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Place, in Ossining.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at St. Augustine’s Church, also in Ossining. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, in Sleepy Hollow.
