Broadway Agent, Producer Biff Liff Of Yorktown Dies At 96

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Biff Liff, 96, longtime Broadway producer and agent, died on Monday, Aug. 10 at his home in Yorktown Heights, reports the New York Times.

Born Samuel Liff April 14, 1919, in Boston, he was the youngest child of Morris Liff, a restaurateur, and Rose Liff. He graduated from the Carnegie Institute of Technology, today known as Carnegie Mellon University in 1939 with a degree in theater, according to the report.

He worked in various positions in Broadway, including production stage manager, associate producer and theatrical agent, and was involved in such shows as “My Fair Lady,” “Oliver!” and “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” reports the New York Times.
