CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – Barbara A. Matra, 72, of Ormond Beach, Fla., formerly of Cortlandt Manor, died Sunday, Feb. 1.
Born Aug. 15, 1942, in White Plains, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Hannah Bellantoni Schettino.
Barbara was a secretary for Greenway Construction in Cortlandt Manor.
Survivors include her husband, Rocco Matra; two sons, Anthony (Julie) Matra and Rocco (Robin) Matra; one daughter, Lisa (Tino) DiPaterio; one sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Gagnon; two brothers, Thomas "Skip" Schettino and Dennis Schettino; and seven grandchildren.
A grandson, Louie DiPaterio, preceded her in death.
Calling hours will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington St., Peekskill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Assumption Church, 131 Union Ave., Peekskill.
Interment will follow in the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
