Wind Causes Outages For Some Cortlandt Con Ed Customers

CORTLANDT, N.Y. - A wind and rain storm knocked out power to 47 customers in Con Edison's Cortlandt area, overnight Wednesday. Con Edison covers 12,295 customers in Cortlandt.

Power is estimated to be restored to these areas by 1 p.m., Thursday, although the National Weather Service has kept the wind advisory in effect for the area through 6 p.m., Thursday.

Additionally, there is a 30 percent chance of scattered showers, as temperatures drop to a low of 25 degrees Thursday night.
