CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- The Hudson Valley Gateway Experience returns to Cortlandt this weekend, along with two village Easter egg hunts.

The Sounds of Shabbat : 8 p.m. The event will feature the sounds of choir Hallel B'shir and an inspiring service led by Rabbi Jennifer Jaech and Cantor Devorah Avery. Temple Israel of Northern Westchester, 31 Glengary Road, Croton-on-Hudson.
Saturday, March 23
Hudson Valley Gateway Experience : 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The biggest consumer event in the area returns with vendor exhibits, presentations and special guests. The Mansion at Colonial Terrace, 119 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor.
The Whole Child : 10 a.m to 2 p.m. A creative writing-based enrichment program in which children can discover and explore the full span of their voices through an array of artistic mediums, including studio art, nature studies, culinary arts, gardening, science and performing arts. Croton-on Hudson Lunch With the Bunny : 11 a.m. Due to limited space, preregistration is required. The fee is $15 for residents and $20 for nonresidents. Croton municipal building,1 Van Wyck St. Croton-on-Hudson.
Motherhood, Anyone?: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. An Evening of Reading, Performance, Art & Community is presented by EMBARK Peekskill. Admission is $15. Energy Movement Center, 925 South St., Peekskill.

Hendrick Hudson Lions Easter Egg Hunt : 2 p.m. Children are divided into age categories. For everyone’s safety, parents are not permitted to assist children over the age of 3. The hunt takes place on the great lawn in front of Hendrick Hudson High School. If the weather is bad, it will be relocated to the dome. 2166 Albany Post Road, Montrose.
Gourmet Soup Supper : 4 to 7 p.m. Croton Yacht Club, Elliot Way, Croton-on-Hudson.
