"Heimlich Hero" Saves Friend's Life: An 11-year-old Blue Mountain Middle School student made national news when he saved his friend from choking by performing the Heimlich maneuver.

Superstorm Sandy Strikes: This hurricane destroyed property, left thousands without power for nearly two weeks and canceled Cortlandt school for one week.
