LEWISBORO, N.Y. – South Salem resident Pete D’Urso, a participant in today’s Boston Marathon, is safe and sound and has reunited with his daughters. D’Urso was approaching the finish line on Monday afternoon when the bombing incident occurred and was stopped by authorities, according to his Facebook page.
D’Urso, 43, reported that his daughters had seen the explosion and “getting out” afterwards was an ordeal, but they were all happy to be safe and together again.
