Metro-North customers experienced delays of up to 15 minutes on both the Harlem and Hudson Lines Saturday afternoon through the evening as a result of “slip-slide" conditions.
"Slip-slide" refers to crushed leaves covering tracks with a gelatinous coating, causing the wheels to literally slip or slide on the rails.
