Rajiv Sardjoe, 17, of South Richmond Hills is now the second teen that has died as a result of the wreck. Authorities identified Vanessa Hoodith, 16 of Brooklyn as the first fatality earlier in the day.
The driver of the 2013 Audi A4 was attempting to exit I-95 at Exit 19 onto Playland Parkway at a high rate of speed. The driver failed to negotiate the turn and struck a concrete barrier with the left side of the vehicle, police said.
The three other occupants were taken to area hospitals for their injuries, police said.
