GARRISON, N.Y. -- A stretch of Route 9 in Garrison has reopened late Friday morning after it was closed approximately three hours as a result of downed wires.
The closure, reported at 7:45 a.m., was at Snake Hill Road.
Earlier Friday, a downed tree led to the closure of one lane of the Taconic State Parkway in Putnam Valley near Peekskill Hollow Road.
