CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Robert Chrapowitzky of High Point, N.C., formerly of Montrose, N.Y., died on Aug. 20, 2013, at the age of 80.
He was retired from the Lakeland Central School District, where he worked as a bus driver/custodian for over 30 years.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Stella Chrapowitzky and his brothers Eugene, Stanley and John.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, his daughters Kathleen (Jimmy) Deely and Roberta (Robert) Newman and his son Gene (Kim) Chrapowitzky, as well as four grandchildren: Gabrielle and Gage Newman and Jackson and Miles Chrapowitzky. He is also survived by his brother Arthur. He was predeceased by his parents John and Stella Chrapowitzky and his brothers Eugene, Stanley and John.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. at St. Christopher's Church in Buchanan. Memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
