Putnam Valley's Town Day Starts With Parade, Ends With Fireworks

PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. -- Putnam Valley’s annual Town Day has morphed from an old-fashioned July Fourth picnic with sack races and a tug of war to a country-fair-like event with amusement rides, activities, food vendors, exhibits, and fireworks, say local officials.
