New Regulations Proposed After Death Of Croton Native In NYC Fire

CROTON, N.Y. -- The New York City high-rise fire that claimed the life of playwright and Croton native Daniel McClung has caused one City Council member to call for new regulations on buildings taller than six stories, according to LoHud.com.

Councilman Corey Johnson proposed that those buildings should be required to have public address systems so that first responders can better communicate with residents during an emergency, LoHud.com reported.
