Fuad Aljamal, 32, of Mahopac, is charged with second-degree criminal possession, first-degree falsifying business records and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, Poughkeepsie City Court records show.

The charges stemmed from Aljamal allegedly lying on his application for a driver’s license and falsely displaying a badge and saying he was a Peekskill firefighter, according to police.

Aljamal is being held in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or a $10,000 bond, police said.
