CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Isabel Anzani, a Girl Scout from Croton, will be honored with a Community Partner Spotlight on her Girl Scout Gold Award submission.
The designation will be given to her Thursday at the Food Bank for Westchester’s 16th annual Agency Conference at the Double Tree by Hilton in Tarrytown.
Anzani, 17, is a senior at Croton-Harmon High School. She has been an active Girl Scout since she was 5 and has earned the Bronze Award and Silver Award for her community service in Girl Scouts.
Her Gold Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout can achieve, will benefit the Croton-Cortlandt Food Pantry, and consists of the creation and launch of a comprehensive website with minimal cost to the pantry. The website can be found at http://www.foodpantryincroton.org/.
After graduation in 2016, Anzani plans to attend college and pursue a degree in education.
