Dense Fog Advisory Is In Effect For Cortlandt

Motorists are urged to use caution, use low-beam headlights and allow plenty of distance between vehicles while traveling due to dramatically reduced visibility of one-quarter mile or less at times, especially in higher elevations and near bodies of water.

The advisory went into effect at midnight.
